The role of a Subproject Owner is to develop a credible schedule that yields accurate dates - including the dates for their own Givers.  This person or team should be the primary owner of their Subproject file and should have authority over changes to their Subproject. In addition, SSI recommends the Subproject Owner be responsible for the following:

•     Identifying and communicating their needed Receivers with other Subproject Owners

•     Making any baseline changes within their file

•     Collecting and performing status updates in their file

•     Conducting quality control checks/audits within their file

•     Understanding the driving paths to Givers and major milestones within their file

•     Understanding resource utilization within their file
