Out of Sync Child and Parent Baseline

What gets flagged by the Audit:

Why does it matter if items in the project have Out of Sync Child and Parent Baselines?
Summary tasks in the schedule are intended to be rollups of their child tasks.  Therefore, Baseline Start should be the minimum baseline start date of the child tasks and Baseline Finish should be the maximum baseline finish date of the child tasks.  Likewise, the Baseline Cost and Work should be the sum of baseline values of child tasks.  When baseline values are out of sync, it indicates that baseline values have been reset for summary or child tasks without properly rolling up or rolling down the baseline changes through the hierarchy of the work breakdown structure.

What Else to Consider
This condition could be an audit flag if a project is subject to review by a Government or Industry evaluation.
